We’ve reviewed 11 categories of Logistics & Industry MCP servers, evaluating over 300 individual servers across supply chain operations, manufacturing, aerospace & defense, agriculture, construction, energy & utilities, sustainability, transportation, aviation, and automotive. Each review covers architecture patterns, star counts, tool inventories, known issues, and honest ratings.

Logistics & Industry is the physical world’s interface to AI. The ecosystem spans from enterprise supply chain management (Karrio at 703 stars, Odoo ERP at 193 stars, Shippo and UPS with official servers) to factory floor automation (ROS robotics at 1,100 stars, OPC UA bridges, predictive maintenance) to vertical industries like aerospace (NASA APIs, satellite tracking), construction (BIM/Revit, 50+ servers), and energy (SCADA, carbon tracking). Transportation is the most geographically diverse subcategory — public transit servers cover 9+ cities across three continents. Tesla dominates automotive with 3+ independent MCP servers.

What stands out

ROS robotics is the industrial MCP breakout. robotmcp/ros-mcp-server at 1,100 stars is the highest-starred industrial MCP server — it enables any LLM to control any ROS-connected robot with bidirectional ROS1/ROS2 communication and zero robot code changes. A second implementation from lpigeon (873 stars) adds natural language command translation. Together they represent the most mature industrial AI integration in any MCP category.

Supply chain has the strongest official vendor support in any industrial category. Shippo launched the first self-described “agentic shipping platform” with multi-carrier support. UPS and ShipStation ship official MCP servers. Microsoft Dynamics 365 exposes Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Project Operations through MCP. Oracle NetSuite has both an official SuiteApp and community servers. AWS IoT SiteWise provides 47 tools for industrial IoT. This density of official support is unusual outside of developer tools.

Karrio is the logistics standout at 703 stars. A self-hosted multi-carrier shipping API with built-in MCP support for UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, Canada Post, and more. It’s the only open-source shipping platform that natively integrates MCP, making it the most flexible option for organizations that want carrier-agnostic shipping automation without vendor lock-in.

Public transit has impressive geographic breadth but zero standardization. Nine or more city-specific MCP servers span NYC, Berlin, Munich, Seattle, Singapore, Hong Kong, DC, San Francisco, and European multi-country coverage. But every city needs its own server — no universal GTFS-realtime parser exists. mirodn/mcp-server-public-transport (6 stars) is the only multi-country server, covering UK, Switzerland, Norway, and Belgium.

Tesla is the most MCP-connected car brand. Three independent servers — teslamate-mcp (120 stars) for analytics, tesla-mcp for Fleet API control, and tessie-mcp for 39+ tools including efficiency trends and FSD detection. No other car brand has more than zero MCP servers.

Flight tracking has official Flightradar24 support. fr24api-mcp provides 13 tools with historical flight data back to 2016, while the community version (46 stars) adds real-time emergency monitoring. Flight search via flights-mcp (169 stars) offers actual bookable fares through the Duffel API.

The biggest gaps: enterprise logistics and non-Tesla automotive. No freight forwarding, no 3PL management, no demand forecasting, no supply chain visibility platforms. No BMW, Mercedes, Hyundai, Ford, or any other car brand MCP servers. No universal transit standard. No ADAS or autonomous driving simulation. The industrial sector is moving fast but still catching up to software-native MCP categories.
